Pennsylvania car accident blamed on misinterpreted turn
For whatever reason, people will sometimes disregard Pennsylvania road signs, laws and posted speed limits. This may not seem to be such a big deal and is often harmless, but for those who are happen to be nearby, the harm or other serious outcomes that such carelessness can cause can be devastating. Had these laws and speed limits been observed, those injured could have saved a great deal of pain and suffering. The car accident that usually results from such disregard can leave some without a loved one and others without the ability to work to provide for their families.
A car had pulled out of the parking lot of a restaurant around 7:30 p.m. The car was positioned in the right-turn-only lane, but the driver was attempting to make a left-hand turn. The driver pulled out into traffic and was struck.
A UPS truck struck the car, causing injury to three people. Those injured were transported by ambulance to a local hospital for treatment. Authorities are continuing to investigate the incident.
Making illegal turns while in the vicinity of others can have damaging and lasting effects. Should a car accident result from one’s negligence to observe posted street and traffic signs, one may find legal action to be in his or her near future. For those injured or worse, seeking the advice and counsel of a Pennsylvania attorney may be advisable. Should a personal injury claim be warranted, any monies awarded can help to cover medical costs incurred and final costs, if applicable.
