Cross-Examination of Lehigh Valley Doctors
Lehigh Valley lawyer, Philip M. Hof, will be featured at the 61st Annual Joint Dinner Meeting of the Lehigh County Medical Society & Bar Association of Lehigh County on Tuesday, September 11, 2012, at The Barristers Club in Allentown, where he will perform a mock deposition of a physician to demonstrate points/tactics to be considered by doctors and lawyers alike in medical malpractice cases.
Effective cross examination of a physician witness in a medical malpractice case takes discipline, hard work, and skill.
Lawyers representing patients, who were victims of a deviation from the medical standard of care, must know both the law and the medicine in order to ask the appropriate questions. Likewise, lawyers representing doctors must know both the law and medicine in order to effectively educate and prepare doctors who are being questioned in a litigation setting.
Philip M. Hof, a board-certified Civil Trial Specialist, has served both as counsel for patients in pursuing damages by filing medical malpractice lawsuits and has also acted as personal counsel for doctors and other health care providers to educate and assist them through each step of the trial process.
All members of both the Bar Association of Lehigh County and the Lehigh County Medical Society are invited to attend this dinner and seminar. There is no charge for this event, but your advance reservation is requested by the Lehigh County Bar Association no later than September 7, 2012 at 610.433.6088 x 12.
