Two women die in an early morning car accident

A fatal car crash occurred that claimed the lives of two Pennsylvania women recently. Authorities are still investigating the cause of the car accident but said the weather was not a factor. In Pennsylvania and other states, if negligence is believed to have been a contributing factor, surviving family members may have legal recourse.

Emergency crews responded to an accident call at a busy intersection just 12 miles outside of Danville. According to authorities, two vehicles were involved with single occupants in each car. Both were pronounced dead at the scene. Police are still investigating what may have caused an SUV driven by a 43-year-old Danville woman to cross the center line and crash head-on into a 32-year-old woman from Pennsdale.

Residents in the area said drivers on the road are notorious for speeding, and they have contacted police multiple times. The road is dotted with houses and driveways and has several school bus stops. Resdients claim it is dangerous for children getting on and off the bus with cars traveling 65 to 70 miles an hour past them. Neighbors also say it is treacherous for them to turn into their driveways, saying they had to veer off the road to avoid being hit many times.

A fatal car accident can leave loved ones struggling in many ways. The emotional and financial pain can be unbearable.
