Pennsylvania car accident claims the life of driver and his dog
Many reasons are given by those involved or responsible for auto accidents. From distraction, to medical emergencies, being under the influence of illegal substances or alcohol and everything in between. Regardless, a Pennsylvania car accident can cause a ripple effect that changes the lives of those involved and their loved ones forever.
An accident occurred around 9:30 a.m involving two vehicles. Police arrived on the scene to find that the cars had been involved in a head-on collision. Authorities are still investigating what the exact cause of the unfortunate event was. Police have determined that the driver of an eastbound headed vehicle crossed over into the westbound lane. Once over the center line, he struck another vehicle.
The driver heading eastbound, along with his dog who riding as passenger, were pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the westbound headed vehicle and a passenger were transported to a local hospital for treatment. The busy road reopened after an hour and a half.
Auto accidents can range from a minor fender bender with no injuries, to a serious collision that results in life altering outcomes. Pennsylvania drivers who have been injured in a car accident may be able to seek financial compensation if the accident proves to be caused by the negligence of another driver. Should the other driver perish from injuries suffered in the accident, the estate of the deceased could be held financially responsible. An attorney well-versed in personal injury law can advise the client of the best course of action to take.
