Car accident in Pennsylvania injures 2

West Philadelphia was the scene of a near-tragic accident on the early morning of October 10, according to local news sources. Pennsylvania authorities responded to the car accident that injured two motorcyclists around 5:30 a.m. So far, no charges have been filed in connection with the crash, but the particulars are still under investigation by local police.

According to the admittedly vague report, a collision took place between a car and a motorcycle carrying two individuals. It is unclear how many people beyond the driver were in the car, if any. There is no word as to whether the car driver or the motorcyclist is being considered responsible for the crash at this time, as only a collision was reported.

The motorcyclist, a 26-year-old man, and his 21-year-old passenger were both thrown from the motorcycle at the time of the collision. Investigators confirmed that the driver was not wearing a helmet, though they are unsure about the passenger. Both individuals are in stable condition at this time, and it appears that the driver of the car was uninjured in the crash.

More information will be required before Pennsylvania authorities can determine where the fault for this car accident lies. If the driver of the car is determined to be responsible, the injured cyclist and his passenger would be entitled to sue for personal injury.
