2-car accident kills 1, injures 1 in Pennsylvania

One person is dead and another seriously injured after a crash on Route 22 in Lebanon County. Pennsylvania State Police responded to the car accident, which happened in mid-July. The accident is still under investigation, and no criminal charges have yet been filed in association with the incident.

Preliminary reports indicate that a vehicle driven by an unknown person was attempting to make a turn eastbound off Route 22 when it pulled in front of another vehicle. The car was then struck by a third vehicle. Police and medical personnel responded shortly thereafter.

Details about this accident are currently unclear from given information. It is unknown whether the deceased party was pronounced at the scene or died later of injuries sustained in the crash. Whether the surviving injured party is still in hospital or has been released is also unknown.
