3 people dead following serious car accident in Pennsylvania

Three people are dead in Bethlehem and another has been critically injured following a crash early on the morning of May 6, according to local sources. Pennsylvania police responded to the car accident at approximately 1:22 a.m. At the moment, no charges have been filed against anyone involved, and police are asking anyone who witnessed the crash to contact them.

The preliminary accident report states that a single car somehow crashed into three parked vehicles that were resting on the shoulder of the road. The details of this crash are sketchy at the moment, but it has been confirmed that three people were pronounced dead at the scene. All of them appear to have been riding in the moving vehicle.

A fourth person was badly injured and rushed to a local hospital. It is unclear whether the driver of the vehicle survived the crash or was among those killed. Police have not commented publicly on any aspect of the accident, including what may have caused the driver to crash. They have reached out to the community for more information and hopefully eyewitness accounts of the accident.

Depending on the outcome of the Pennsylvania police investigation, there are several courses of action open to the families of the deceased and possibly the injured party as well. If the driver survived the car accident and police determine he or she contributed meaningfully to the crash by way of recklessness, negligence and/or intoxication, that person could face criminal charges and could be subject to wrongful death suits from the families of the deceased. If the driver perished, the surviving passenger and the families of the deceased are entitled to file suits against the driver’s estate.
