Recent motorcycle accident claims the life of a Pennsylvania man

As the weather warms up, many motorcyclists are taking to the streets to enjoy the nice weather. Since bikers have little protection between themselves, the road, the elements and other vehicles, it is imperative that all motorists share the road to help avoid incidents. Recently, a Pennsylvania man lost his life in a motorcycle accident when he struck an SUV.

The woman who was driving the SUV is considerably upset after she had attempted to make a left-hand turn out of a local community and was hit by the biker. She was hit on the driver’s side but suffered no injury. As the motorcyclist had the right of way, it appears that the woman simply overlooked the bike.

The male motorcyclist has not been identified publicly, but he suffered serious head and upper body trauma. He was treated at the site by emergency responders. The biker was then transported by ambulance to a local hospital for immediate treatment before being airlifted to a trauma center. He later succumbed to his injuries.

At this time, no reports have indicated that the woman will be facing any charges for the motorcycle accident, but police and local authorities continue to investigate. The surviving family of the deceased victim may decide to file a wrongful death civil suit against the driver of the SUV. By enlisting the help of a Pennsylvania attorney, family members can receive guidance in pursuing the steps necessary to file a wrongful death claim. Successful litigation could provide financial compensation to help cover medical and final costs for the victim.
